I am regularly creating resources for families to provide better support and simpler solutions. Most are build around the 6 pillars of pediatric wellness that create thriving and adaptable children (and adults).

Pillars of Pediatric Wellness

  • Sensory

    Self awareness of all nine of our senses and how they impact our experience of the world. Self regulation to know what I need and how to get it.

  • Nutrition

    Understanding that we eat for nutrients and drink for hydration. Making self determined choices of what to eat and how these choices impacts our mind & body.

  • Movement

    Creating a posture for body awareness, alignment, and effective breathing. Engaging in curious & varied play for a body that adapts well to challenges.

  • Sleep

    Allowing the brain to process, organize & store memories for learning. Providing opportunity for the brain to “wash” and body to heal & grow.

  • Identity

    Acquiring a sense of self that is autonomous with immutable worth. Learning identity versus roles (what I do versus who I am) and preferences.

  • Relationships

    Learning collaboration through communication and equity. Being part of a community to embracing diversity as opportunities to learn and share.
